BULLIS STUDENT TUTOR PROGRAM

As Co-Director of the Upper School Tutor Programming I am responsible for collaborating with my fellow Co-Director to create a flexible, adaptive and needs based curriculum for the academic year.

During the COVID 19 pandemic our team has utilized innovative tools like Flip grid and Google calendars to make access to tutors readily available, therefore increasing a positive outcome for peer-to-peer learning.

AMBASSADOR

Selected to be an AMBASSADOR by the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). I am responsible for spreading the word about NSHSS and give advice to current and potential members.

I mentor using communications application Slack, write blogs and volunteer for social media takeovers.

Bullis Peer Mentor

Through a rigorous process, I was selected as a Peer Mentor to lead weekly discussion groups, plan special activities and host guest speakers on issues facing students today like surviving and thriving in a post-pandemic world.

Prioritizing self-care remains a top priority which is important to the health and well-being of our communities.
